When shopping for a cheap TV, you may expect to pay for a brand name that you are unfamiliar with. Haier, a Chinese company with its American headquarters in New York City, offers a wide range of electronics and appliances – from refrigerators to laundry machines. In 2009, Haier launched its new LED high definition television to the market. Today we are reviewing Haier’s 32-inch 720p LCD TV.
The television promotes its user-friendly setup and ease of use, as do most budget televisions. The television has two HDMI inputs good for connecting both video game and blu-ray systems. The television has a 3D digital comb filter that separates brightness and color information to eliminate on screen, promising a crisp, sharp image for optimal HD viewing. Included is an auto volume leveler, allowing you to set a preferred listening level to ensure your commercials and programs remain at a consistent level. The Haier L32D1120 can also serve as a media center via the PC input, acting as a larger monitor for slideshows, internet browsing, and streaming television shows and movies. There is a USB port for playing MP3 files and images.
Overall, the Haier 32-inch 720p LCD HDTV gets mostly positive reviews from Amazon consumers. On the positive side, reviewers praised its bright and sharp picture. The sound leveler worked easily and kept the sound levels consistent. Although it may not compare to pricier plasmas, one reviewer felt the picture quality was more natural looking than older 60Hz LCD TVs.

This makes it a great picture frame for sharing photos and a media center for music and videos.
The DVD has the capabilities of your average DVD player, playing DVD,DVD±R/RW, CD, CD-R/RW, and is JPEG compatible. The television has limited reviews on Amazon, but for the most part they all send the same message. The television is viewed as being a good value for the price paid.
